Assessment:
We will inspect your existing sump pump system, including the pump, discharge line, float switch, and basin.
We will assess the condition of the electrical connections and the overall setup.
We will determine the proper size and type of sump pump for your needs based on factors like the size of your basement, the amount of water in your sump pit, and the level of flood risk in your area.
Removal of the old system:
We will disconnect the old sump pump from the power source and discharge pipe.
They’ll remove the old pump from the sump pit.
Installation of the new combination system:
The new sump pump and battery backup system will be installed in the sump pit.
We will connect the primary pump to the discharge pipe and the power source.
We will connect the battery backup system to the primary pump and ensure it’s properly wired and functioning.
The float switch(es) will be adjusted to ensure proper activation of the primary pump and the backup pump when needed.
Testing:
We will test the primary sump pump to ensure it’s working correctly.
